Introduction

The Map tab can be added to any personal, organisation or project page. On personal pages, the map tab show the locations where the person has visited. On organisation pages, the map tab can be edited to show: the point location of a conservation area, group or business; the polygon boundary for a conservation area; or a frame within which a conservation area, group or business is located. On project pages, the map tab can be edited to show the frame within which the project is located.

Add a Map tab to your page

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add this tab to the page button.

Remove the Map tab from your page

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Remove this tab to the page button.

Adding spatial data to your organisation or project page’s Map tab

Add point location to your Map tab

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add/change boundary/position button.
4. On the Organisation location dialog box in the Add/change point location select Add point.
5. A map of the world will appear. To add your location using the map, right click on the map to move it and use the + and - buttons to zoom in or out until you have accurately marked the location. Then click on the Save button. Alternatively, type the Latitude and Longitude of the location into the Lat and Lng text boxes at the top of the map, click on the Move> button to show the location you have added, and then click the Save button.
6. Close the Organisation location dialog box and your location should be shown on the map with a marker icon containing your profile picture. If it does not appear then you may need refresh the page in your Internet browser.

Change the point location on your Map tab

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add/change boundary/position button.
4. On the Organisation location dialog box in the Add/change point location click on the Update point button.
5. A map of the world will appear. To add your location using the map, right click on the map to move it and use the + and - buttons to zoom in or out until you have accurately marked the location. Then click on the Save button. Alternatively, type the Latitude and Longitude of the location into the Lat and Lng text boxes at the top of the map, click on the Move> button to show the location you have added, and then click the Save button.
6. Close the Organisation location dialog box and your location should be shown on the map with a marker icon containing your profile picture.

Add your location as a frame on your Map tab

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add/change boundary/position button.
4. On the Organisation location dialog box in the Add/change frame section click on the Add frame button.
5. A map of the world will appear. It will show the map frame as a rectangle, with four white squares at the corners and a move frame icon in the top left corner of the frame. Click on the move frame icon to change its position, right click on the map to move it and use the + and - buttons to zoom in or out until the frame is in the correct location. Then click on the Save frame button.
6. Close the Organisation location dialog box and the map should show the area contained in the frame.

Update/Remove your location as a frame on your Map tab

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add/change boundary/position button.
4. On the Organisation location dialog box in the Add/change frame section click on the Update frame button to update the information or the Delete frame button to remove it.
5. Close the Organisation location dialog box and the map should show the area contained in the frame.

Add your location as a boundary file on your Map tab

1. Log in to Izele and go to the page that you manage.
2. Click on the Map tab .
3. Click on the Add/change boundary/position button.
4. On the Organisation location dialog box in the Add/change boundary choose Click to upload KML file or drop file here. Upload the kml file.
5. Close the Organisation location dialog box and the map should show the conservation area boundary.
