Shopping

The world is being swallowed up by plastic grocery bags. You can find them in the garbage, piled high in landfills, or floating around in the ocean. We can all do our part to make the Earth more eco-friendly by switching to a reusable tote bag. The perfect tote bag can hold anything from books to groceries and is durable enough to use over and over again..... Our stylish and convenient tote bags are good for for the environment and they help the use of plastic bags

Activities

Our monthly hikes promote fun, fitness and conservation. For every hike, we purchase an indigenous tree to plant where there are open areas. We are slowly losing Indigenous trees in the kingdom of Eswatini because most of them are cut down for certain purposes whereas some are burned down. Our goal with hike and plant initiative is to educate people about the importance of conserving while having fun and staying fit.

Nine2lifestyle is a community project that aims to educate communities in the kingdom of Eswatini about conservation and ecotourism. We produce tote bags made out of reused material which are locally produced and our tote bags act as a plastic-free solution. Agriculture, Natural Resources and Tourism are the major sectors contributing to the economy of Eswatini however the beautiful kingdom is negatively affected by the plastic bag pollution. Plastic bags pollution is both unsightly and a hazard to the environment particularly wildlife and livestock. They take an incredibly long time to break down and when they do, it is in the form of powdery plastic dust which contaminates all life forms including the soil and the water forever. Our tote bags locally produced and act as the plastic-free solution, we aim to reduce the use of plastics bags. For every sale of a bag goes 60% goes to our hike and plant a tree initiative, this initiative aims to educate Emaswati about conservation and promote it. Every month we chose a mountain we want to summit and while hiking or when we reach the peak we plant a tree where there is clear land. Due to the high level of deforestation in the world, the initiative aims to promote the planting of indigenous trees throughout the country (Eswatini). The project also aims to maintain and restore lost species found in the country for the future generation. Through the lanting of the indigenous plant (trees), the project will raise awareness in promoting biological diversity.
