Environment Learning and Teaching (ELT) draws on the Japanese proverb “planting trees in whose shade we do not expect to sit” by:

• conducting, assisting, developing or promoting Environmental Education and/or Education for Sustainable Development projects.

• developing the competence and confidence of teachers to facilitate learning of the environmental content of their curriculum (grade and subject specific).
