The Save our iMfolozi Wilderness Campaign was started in May 2014 as a project of the Global Environmental Trust (GET) when we were faced with an unprecedented threat to the iMfolozi Wilderness area by Ibutho Coal application for an open cast coal mine. From very humble beginnings, the SOIW Campaign has grown from strength to strength.
The Global Environmental Trust provided support to our campaign from the start and has such been joined in an alliance of affected communities and other NGO’s,
